
PhD students are the target group for this course. The first objective is to review the methodological choices made for the thesis. The aim is to develop a structured approach to reading research papers. The second objective is to enable students to assess the ethics of their own research. The final objective is to present the thesis in 20 minutes.
1- Research Method and Methodological choice. This first seminar aims to review the various methodological approaches and their implications for the structure of a PhD thesis. The session will be based on academic papers that will be shared during the presentation.
2- Research Ethics. This second seminar aims to explore the adoption of ethical research practices. This topic will be addressed through research papers, and participants will also discuss an ethical self-assessment framework that could be included as an appendix to a PhD thesis.
